Extract plain text

Text stays in this tab. Markdown is capped at 500 KiB; pasted HTML uses a 256 KiB cap.

Plain text

No result is placed in a URL, account, preset, API, or remote log.

What this tool does

Explicit-profile, bounded, local processing

Plain-text extraction is for copying, indexing, and review. It is not HTML rendering, a word-count claim, or an attempt to download linked content.

Block boundaries stay readable

Top-level headings, paragraphs, and lists remain separated instead of collapsing into one run-on string.

Processing stays in this browser and is bounded by a 500 KiB Markdown limit, a 256 KiB HTML limit, a 1 MiB result limit, and explicit syntax-tree limits. The public tool never calls the developer API, fetches a URL, or stores a preset.

Destinations and markup are not executed

The parser reads link labels and text content only. It does not open links, load images, run code fences, or evaluate raw HTML.
