Terms of Service
The terms governing Tool Swim browser tools, accounts, developer API requests, credits, billing, and generated results.
Using Tool Swim
You may use Tool Swim only if you can legally enter this agreement. You are responsible for your account, the inputs you submit, and activity under your credentials. Keep credentials secure and tell us promptly if you believe your account or API key has been compromised.
You may not use the service to break the law, infringe rights, distribute malware, evade security or usage controls, interfere with the service, or process content you are not authorized to use.
Browser tools and developer API
The public QR and image tools run locally in your browser and do not require signup. The developer API is a separate server feature that you invoke intentionally with a scoped key. You are responsible for keeping API secrets server-side, using idempotency keys correctly, respecting rate limits, and verifying generated output before relying on it.
Your content and results
You retain your rights in content you submit. For an explicit server feature, you grant Tool Swim the limited permission needed to process that content, deliver the requested result, maintain security, measure usage, and provide support. Tool Swim does not claim ownership of your generated files or QR code content.
You are responsible for checking results before relying on them. File conversions, QR codes, metadata, and other outputs can be incomplete, incompatible, or unsuitable for a particular purpose.
Plans, credits, and payments
Paid plans renew at the price and interval shown at checkout until canceled. Credits are service units, not money, and have no cash value. Monthly credits reset at renewal unless a page explicitly says otherwise. A successful QR developer API execution costs one credit; documented validation, conflict, platform, cancellation, and idempotent replay outcomes settle zero additional credits.
Taxes and payment-processing terms may apply at checkout. Except where law requires otherwise, completed credit usage is not refundable. Canceling stops future renewal and does not retroactively undo completed processing.
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, or improve the service. We may limit or terminate access for material violations of these terms. When practical, we will give notice of changes that materially reduce a paid service.
Disclaimers and liability
Tool Swim is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every result will meet your requirements.
To the extent permitted by law, Tool Swim is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunity. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid Tool Swim in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. The date above identifies the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice through the service or account contact information. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
