What this tool does

Explicit-profile, bounded, local processing

A linter can prove rules about parsed source. It cannot prove that prose is correct, a destination exists, an image is meaningful, or every publishing platform will render identically.

Diagnostics stay narrow and actionable

The report identifies heading-depth jumps, duplicate heading text, empty image alternatives, and raw HTML up to the documented diagnostic cap.

Processing stays in this browser and is bounded by a 500 KiB Markdown limit, a 256 KiB HTML limit, a 1 MiB result limit, and explicit syntax-tree limits. The public tool never calls the developer API, fetches a URL, or stores a preset.

External truth stays outside the linter

The tool does not fetch links, interpret an editorial style guide, run code, or promise accessibility from syntax alone.
